Gifts in Wills

At RSPCA West Dorset, we are deeply indebted to the wonderful supporters who choose to remember our branch in their Wills. Legacies of any size are a vital lifeline for us, they provide the essential funding needed to rescue, rehabilitate, and care for local animals when they have nowhere else to turn.

Looking to the future, gifts in Wills ensure that we can keep the doors of Taylors Rehoming Centre open and continue our vital animal welfare work across the West Dorset region for generations to come.

How you can help: We have partnered with The Goodwill Partnership to make writing or updating your Will as simple, affordable, and robust as possible. By choosing to remember us, you can let your love for animals live on.

Thank you for your incredible support!

Who are The Goodwill Partnership?

The Goodwill Partnership is the UK's leading provider of home-visit, solicitor-provided Wills. Founded in 2009, they partner with over 150 UK charities to make the process of writing or updating a Will as simple, affordable, and stress-free as possible.

How the service works:

  • Convenient Appointments: A trained professional from The Goodwill Partnership will meet with you to take your Will instructions. This can be done in the comfort of your own home, via a video call, or over the phone at a time that suits you—including evenings and weekends.

  • Solicitor-Written for Peace of Mind: Once your instructions are taken, they are passed to a panel firm of independent solicitors, who are fully regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Law Society. They legally draft, check, and finalize your Will.

  • Affordable & Accessible: They offer a straightforward, fixed low-cost service without the need for stressful or expensive visits to a solicitor's office.

There is absolutely no obligation to leave a gift to RSPCA West Dorset when using this service. However, once your family and loved ones are taken care of, choosing to include a legacy gift is a beautiful way to ensure your lifelong love for animals lives on.
