Taylors Rehoming Centre
Our Taylors Rehoming Centre in Dorchester is where the RSPCA West Dorset story really happens — it's home to the cats, rabbits and small animals in our care while they wait for their forever homes. You can support the centre directly by sponsoring a pen, cage or hutch, donating supplies, or simply visiting to meet the animals and see our work first-hand.
Our Shops
Our charity shops across West Dorset raise vital funds for animal welfare, all while giving pre-loved items a second life. Every bag of donated clothing, bric-a-brac or book helps fund veterinary care, food and shelter for the animals at Taylors. Pop into one of our shops to donate, browse or pick up a bargain — every purchase makes a difference.
Volunteer
Our branch runs on the goodwill of our volunteers. From helping out in the shops to caring for animals at Taylors, supporting events or joining our board of trustees, there's a role for every interest and every amount of time you can spare. No experience is necessary — just enthusiasm and a love of animals.
Foster
Fostering is one of the most rewarding ways to help animals in need, offering a temporary home to cats, rabbits and small animals while they wait for adoption or recover from illness, injury or a difficult start in life. We provide all the food, equipment and veterinary support — all you need to bring is a spare room, a bit of time and plenty of love.
Donate
Every donation, big or small, helps us rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals across West Dorset. Whether it's a one-off gift, a regular monthly donation, or a gift in memory of a much-loved pet, your support goes directly towards vet bills, food, bedding and the day-to-day care of the animals who need us most.
